i took the 10.4 server essentials exam today. passed with an 82%. not to shabby. so i’m an Apple Certified Technical Coordinator now. Hurraaaah!

Since the Hot Water Music split, i’ve been hoping to hear something from Chuck. He’s back ladies and gentlemen. He’s been playing some shows and has a couple left coast shows with SAMIAM coming up. Check out Chuck’s myspace page. Eventually Complete Control Radio will have their podcast up, which i downloaded somewhere else the other day and it’s great, but in the meantime, check this interview/song podcast out from Sound Scene Revolution.

Thanks to Dim, Lauren, the Cranes, Allen & Emily, Scott & my parents, we were able to get the living room sanded, spackled, primed, painted and almost done. The hallway is almost done also, the second bedroom is done except for the trim.
Lots to do and i didnt take enough pictures, but there will be some on soon. Befores & Afters.

Lauren, Shannon, Jen, Josh and I went to Weed Orchards in NY State up near New Paltz on Saturday. It was awesome. Got to see goats, cows, a dirty ass dog, peaches, apples, zucchinis, etc. We bought a log of friggin’ fruits and veggies, that’s for sure. Take a look.

1) It does suck compared to the old stuff that I like.
2) It’s all that Beyonce/Paris Hilton/MTV junk that sucks.
3) We are in a golden age of music. Amazing album after amazing album.
4) We are in an age of mediocrity, where everyone makes an album, but few are any good, and none great.
5) If I was Pitchfork, I would rate this period in music as an 7.4.
6) I’ll settle for the music we have. I think you shoudl listen to the music of yoru time.
7) I really don’t think about it that much. Music is free, and shows are there to get wastedly laid. 
Dylan needs to shut the fuck up, he hasn’t made a decent album since Nashville Skyline.
9) Music’s all played out. It’s all Mentos and Diet Coke now.
10) I only listen to 1967 Non-Island Danish Psychedelia. Fuck everything else.

CHICAGO — Mardin Azad Amin found himself in a tight squeeze last week when security at O’Hare Airport discovered a suspicious-looking object in his luggage.
So Amin, 29, handled the delicate situation this way: He told security the object was a bomb, Cook County prosecutors said.
The security guard then asked Amin to repeat what he’d said to a supervisor. This time, Amin was chuckling as he spoke, prosecutors said.
In fact, Amin was trying to disguise the fact that the black object — resembling a grenade — was a component for a penis pump.

WHO WANTS TO PAINT FRIDAY NIGHT?????
i need to paint badly
I was just reading SPIN and i saw that there is a film coming out calledAmerican Hardcore. It’s about the hardcore movement in the 80s through today. They interview the old school musicians like Ian MacKaye, Henry Rollins and Moby. So, i’m wondering why Moby. Well, aparantly Moby, born Richard Melville Hall, was in a hardcore band called Vatican Commandos which formed in 1980. They were very influential as one of the premier east coast hardcore bands. Hailing from Darien, Connecticut, this band was only around a short time, but had a pretty big influence in the scene. So, Moby’s an old hardcore kid. I knew there was more than just his electronic music. Time to search for the Vatican Commandos now and download their records.

People are stupid. Why would you search on a search engine for another search engine? I’ve seen people search on google for “www.domainname.com”. I just don’t get it. But i was born with this technology, not everyone was. So, i answered my own question. Just felt like posting this, nonetheless. Shows that AOLers are inferior, by the way.
