Went county line dancing on Lauren’s birthday. That was awesome and it taught me that many jersey people are cowboys at heart. Last night finished up the party in Hoeboken at Willie McBrides for open bar. Good times were had by all. Hope you had a great bday week!

Former Celtics player Dennis Johnson died today at age 52, Celtics executive director of basketball operations Danny Ainge confirmed to The Boston Globe. The Austin American-Statesman is reporting on its website that Johnson fell ill at the Austin Convention Center in Texas this afternoon.

life is short. death comes quickly. my mother just called my, my cousin Kenny just passed away from a heart attack. that’s all i know. it sucks. he was young and my father’s good friend and first cousin. i makes me fucking sad because i wanted to know more about my father and Kenny was going to be a good source. It’s hard to ask my mom and my grandmother and especially my aunt. I am even more sad for Mary and Kenny’s kids. It’s going to be so hard for them.
i’ll never forget the story of me vomiting all over Kenny’s new leather jacket when i was a little kid.
Or a civil union, which is now legal in Jersey, so come on up McGreevey. 13 Billion Dollar merger! Hopefully the stocks are going to go up.
After a week or so racking my and everyone else’s brains trying to come up with a new domain, it’s been settled on…

I was fortunate enough to receive two bottles of Joe Tea. To be specific, Low Sugar Green Tea. The labeling is awesome. It’s eye catching, simple, bold and old-timey, yet hip and fresh. The tea shares some of those qualities. It’s simple and refreshing. The lack of sugar is a refreshing change from other teas i’ve sampled in the past. I really like the simple plain-jane flavor of the tea. Many times, with iced tea, the sugar and too complex of flavors and ingredients overpower the tea itself. The color of the tea is green without an artificial coloring and the sugar that is used is cane sugar not that granulated crap.

After some show at Club Deep, a man was killed because he apparently was wearing a Lynyrd Skynyrd shirt by a member of FSU, a nationwide hardcore group of “friends.” Well now this story is getting crazier. If you care about it, click here to read more, but to sum it up. The FSU kids are defending the “murderer” and saying the shirt offended them. Aye Dios Mio???!!
