The billboards all over Jersey. “Dr. Shammah Womack-El is a world class Naturopathic Holistic Scientist and Master Herbalist of Drugless Medicine, which he calls God’s Natural Pharmacy. He believes that God has a cure and a remedy in the earth for all dis-eases. Dr. Womack-El can help you with supervision to rejuvenate your life and detoxify your body tissues for improved health and longevity.”
In other words, buy food from their market and you’ll be saved. I do agree that a healthy diet can cure diseases, but I don’t spell it dis-eases. That’s just silly.
So, if the glove don’t fit, you must depit. That was a joke involved the late JC and food. It brought this post to a funny close, I think.

Just wanted everyone to know how much of a hippie I am. It was great. Took about 30 minutes to work and about 25 back home. There are more hills going there, but on the way home, I found the shortcut to avoid the uphills and just coasted downhill for a few hundred yards. That’s about 7 miles total, plus the 5 I put in in the last few days. Goodbye beer stomach, hello abs of recycled aluminum.
Now, since my legs are jello from running up and down the stairs at work, unboxing 25 computers and eating the best eggplant sandwich ever, I will lie on the couch and watch Heros and 24, since I was at a consulting job last night.
RIP, by the way, to Don Ho and Boris, I have a indie rock band named after me, Yeltsin.
As I sit on my balcony for the third day in a row I think of how beautiful the weather out here actually is. It’s amazing. My thermometer says it’s 85. It’s sunny, breezy, the birds are chirping and there’s a lovely freight train on the opposite side of the fence full of garbage. Well, it’s time to watch the Sopranos on my notebook while soaking up the rays. Oh, I went for a bike ride this morning after going to Salvo’s Newark aka Brick City. Tried to do some urban exploration, but I couldnt figure out where to go where I wanted to go in the Garfield/Elmwood Park/Saddle Brook area.
Anyone familiar with those abandoned buildings and factories, get in touch.

As I mentioned a few times, I got a table at the Loop Lounge today for a special Earth Day Flea Market. Well, not really for Earth Day, but it sounds good. The hodgepodge of merchandise and vendors really made this a successful event. It was the first time they ran the flea market, but it won’t be the last, according to Bruce, the Loop’s owner.
I had my table in the front bar looking out of the door and it was perfect, kinda sunny and fresh air. I put out my record bowls, all 24 of them, and a few shirts, vhs and dvds and the g4 cube. Sold a shirt and 13 bowls. Not too bad for the first time. Paid for the table and some spending money this week. So, I’m happy with the turnout and the response.
I got to meet some new people and seeded leafygreen.info and my consulting stuff out there as well.
Thanks to the Loop Lounge for hosting this awesome event and if you want a bowl, click here to contact me.
