Read the roundup from the first batch of iPhone reviews here. I’d like to get one, but i think it’s too much in one for me. Either way, it is freaking amazing looking and who knows, it could be the most amazing toy ever. First generation apple releases are never great as history shows.
i agree about the first gen apple products sucking the big one. i will say, that i have a 2nd gen ipod and it’s still working, 3.5 years later, albeit having it replaced twice when the battery died and when the audio quit out on one channel. but i’ve had the most recent one for at least two years and it works really well.
i’m waiting for the 2nd gen iphone, probably released around a year from now. with a bigger and better version coming around what, xmas 08?

i have a first gen nano, year now, no probs so far. Also my parents have my old first gen, first ipod of all time, 5gb mechanical wheel ipod, besides the headphone jack being a little broke, as in the headphones will fall out sometimes still will play for about 5 hours on a full charge. but if you just let it sit is discharges in about a day. but it still rules and is a classic….
If one more person asks me about the iphone i will hang myself….
